EN Standards - and beyond

Buckler Boots are distributed in EC mainland countries so even post Brexit our products will require to comply with EC standards.

We already take the products and components testing regime further than the EN standards require, especially in the areas of flexing, abrasion and comfort.  However we often see soles on the market which don’t pass the maximum slip resistant test (SRC) or maximum heat resistant test (HRO) and there are even ‘safety’ boots on offer which imply that they are ok for construction site use, but which don’t have anti-penetration mid-soles!
