Backing a winner
Earlier this year, bricklayer Katie Smith from Leicester won the Prince’s Trust Young Achiever of the Year Award, the On the Tools Young Apprentice of the Year Award and became Jelson Homes’ first female trades person in their 127 years history.
Her story reached the ears of our National Accounts Manager, David Healey, who felt that Katie’s achievement merited recognition in the shape of a pair of Buckler Boots safety footwear in the style of her choice. Katie opted for a pair of B1990 Goodyear Welted safety dealer boots. She knows the real deal for a tough working environment when she sees it.
